Are You Willing To Lay It All Down?
As people dislike you and talk about you behind your back and sometimes in your face are you willing to lay down defending yourself? What about if they spit on you and beat you down?What if they rape your child or kill your mother , are you able to lay down the need to retaliate?Christ laid it all on the line and the sin wasnt even His but He took it on for us. The wages of sin is death (Rom 6:23). He took "Death" head on for us and He didnt say a word . He didnt need to He was the Final Word in the Flesh ,and He has called us to be the walking Word as well. So challenge yourself to lay it all down and not say a word , but BE THE WORD.

We live in a world that is deprived of the very necessity of life. The love of God. Have you lent your ear to someone today or a shoulder or even a hug? What about a smile? We have sat and allowed walls of tolerance and perversion of the enemy to cause us as followers of Christ to feed in to this deprivity and let it become our normal . Well God wants to give us a new normal . The word says For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes ,shall not perish but have everlasting life. Two things if we believe then why not extend giving in anyway possible and if were not open to extend than do we believe and why label yourself a Christian? Selah

Today God showed up again to meet me in a state of overwhelming glory. We were in attendance today of over 7000 people in the very heart of some of the baddest neighborhoods in Raleigh. The Convey of Hope came to Raleigh and help facilitate what I believe to be the next move into what God is doing for this generation that is coming up . Yesterday (Sat) and today (Sun) Has really just help me to see where me outlook and what I think is a job well done is nothing compared to what God wants to do in me and through me as well as us all. We were faced with a question on today," If you were God would you chose you?" After going through the list of things that God required ,and it having nothing to do with what I really believe to be a great job, I had to reevaluate where my motives and where I myself was really coming from. Matt 19:16-22 had my mouth ripped . I never really looked at this parable in the way I saw it today. I guess as we are ready for more truth then it will be revealed unto us.Parable of the rich man I wont go thru the whole story you can read it for yourself. Anyway He was so high on himself about the things he had done in his life and when presented with the option for more he opt to go in the opposite direction. That wasnt what stuck out to me this time because for some that is the obvious. What caught my attention this time was the statement Jesus made as the young man coming before our Holy Saviour with an err about himself . Jesus asked in the (NIV) version, If you want to be perfect ( Matt19:21). I was like OH MY! If you want to be perfect. Jesus made a statement that shuts the door to every self righteous spirit that we could ever have , your talking about a perfect GOD/Man who walked the earth and knew very well that we were born into sin and are imperfect human beings that "If you want to be perfect..... let the mask go"(paraphrase added). It didnt slip Jesus's mind that He was talking to a mere human that was created in His image by the way , but I believe that as our Saviour always does in His amazing way makes us go and count up the cost and look deeply at ourselves to understand that before we can go any futher that we have to let Him dig a little deeper and knowing its nothing we can do or maintain on our own outside of God,we must come before Him knowing nothing and totally naked. This has been a wild begining of the year, God has truly come upon the scene of my heart and many of those that I know and have left us wrecked to a life that we once knew. Our ideas of Christ and God have been and forever will begin to change as we pursue Him with everything that is within us. If we would only pray that we would embrace and embody the love of our Lord . I leave you with this if God is love and you don't acknowledge Him or know him how are you loving? Futhermore if you say you love Christ but hate or dislike your neighbor next to you the Father himself calls you a liar.
